Name for non-exhaustive cross validation technique similar to leave-one-out but with test set size larger...
$begingroup$
Is there a name for a cross validation technique like k-fold that accepts the size of the fold instead of the amount of folds? If I understand it correctly, leave-p-out outputs all combinations, so leave-three-out for a data set of 300 not the same as k-fold with 100 folds.
