Libertas credendi[1][2][3] (sive licentia credendi[4]), sive libertas religionis[5][6][7][8] aut cultūs,[8] sive etiam libertas religiosa[9][10][11] est libertas religionis eligendae, deponendae, propagandae, exercendaeque. Ad iura humana igitur pertinet. Universa Iurum Humanorum Declaratio[12] et Conventio de Protectione Iurum Humanorum et Libertatum elementariorum[13] hanc libertatem protegent. Libertati religionis etiam optionem esse religionis omnino abnuendae (ut in atheismo et agnosticismo) subest.
