You are in charge of buying soda in large bottles for the Awards Banquet at
the end of the season.
Coach Smith has given you these directions:
You must buy 40 bottles.



You may spend no more than $65.
The brand name sodas that most of the athletes like best sell for 1.80 a
bottle. The off-brand soda, which is OK, but not great, sells for 1.25 a
bottle. You want to get as much of the good soda as you can and still follow
your coach’s directions. How many of each kind of soda can you buy?
