How can I find sci-fi written in a specific country? [on hold]
Many countries outside the Anglosphere have local authors that write sci-fi primarily for their own countrypeople. Russia, in particular is famous for its sci-fi. Reading scifi from russian authors feels completely different - very bleak but without despair is how some of it makes me feel.
I am interested in discovering what the rest of the world has to offer. What would reading scifi written by a Brazilian living in Brazil writting in Portuguese for Brazilians be like? Or scifi from India? Or Germany? Or Turkey?
So here's my question: How can I discover what a particular country has to offer as far as scifi literature goes, including maybe some indication of subgenre (post-apocalyptic, utopian, nationalistic, space opera, whatever), and at least a basic plot overview for each novel? I figure once I've discovered the existence of a novel in its original language, I can then look into translations into languages I can read.
