Matplotlib - Percent stacked barplot error=“TypeError: only size-1 arrays can be converted to Python...
$begingroup$
i want to create percent stacked barplot using values that i select with pandas.
my problem is that i can't figure out why x3 i y3 values are creating error -> "TypeError: only size-1 arrays can be converted to Python scalars"values y1,y2 and x1,x2 works well and are shown in graph, but when i give y3 and x3 values i get error!?!
-look pics
import numpy as np
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import pandas as pd
r = [0,1,2]
raw_data = {'greenBars': [y1,y2,y3], 'orangeBars': [x1,x2,x3]}
df = pd.DataFrame(raw_data)
totals = [i+j for i,j in zip(df['greenBars'], df['orangeBars'])]
greenBars = [i / j * 100 for i,j in zip(df['greenBars'], totals)]
orangeBars = [i / j * 100 for i,j in zip(df['orangeBars'], totals)]
barWidth = 0.8
names = ('A','B','C')
plt.bar(r, greenBars, color='y', edgecolor='white', width=barWidth)
plt.bar(r, orangeBars, bottom=greenBars, color='c', edgecolor='white',
width=barWidth)
plt.xticks(r, names)
plt.xlabel("group")
plt.show()
