Big Data Statistical Software for Confidence Intervals/Hypothesis Testing

$begingroup$

What are some current approaches for doing statistical analysis (glm, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, ...) on Big Data (that cannot fit on one machine). I know there are Machine Learning packages (ex: Spark ML, tensorflow, ect...) to fit models on big data in distributed framework, but they do not do the p-value computation. I am excluding the possibility of running analysis on a sample subset of the data. Some of the options I am comparing are as follows:

1) Writing the CI code myself in Apache Mahout. But I noticed that Apache Mahout is going to be deprecated soon.

2) Writing the CI code in Apache Spark. Possible, but expressing linear algebra in map reduce / sparkSQL not easy.

3) Another big data package?
