how do i separate individual data from a single string
$begingroup$
A lot of data like **current address, current city ...**etc are missing in the majority of strings. I know how to preprocess data but the noob in me is unable to categorize the data from a single string.

That looks like a properly formatted pipe-separated file. You should be able to import it easily to e.g. pandas (or Excel...). In pandas, use read_csv with sep = '|'. See https://pandas.pydata.org/pandas-docs/stable/generated/pandas.read_csv.html
