Rotating 12 players on 2 tables
$begingroup$
I'm stuck trying to find a good way to rotate 12 poker players on 2 tables.
Assumptions:
- There are 12 players
- There are 2 tables
- We play for 4 hours
- Playing with sb means sitting at the same table
My goals are:
- Each player gets to play with every other player for at least an hour...
- ... but no more than two hours.
- Minimize the number of rotations (as it's time consuming)
I was trying to rotate 3 players every hour, but it seems like I haven't found a solution that meets my goals yet.
I feel that I'm missing something simple, so any help will be appreciated.
