Warp drive quallities [on hold]

-4

As far as I know a warp drive creates a synthetic gravitational ACCELERATION, which leads to a certain speed after a certain time. So a warp drive can be say 10G and after some time the speed can be enormous. I calculated, for instance, that at a warp drive equivalent to 100 m/s/s, just over ten times Earth's gravitational pull, light speed will be reached after c. 3 months. The speed of sound, however, could be reached in about 3.4 seconds.

  • Warp Factor 1 takes you from 0-to-lightspeed instantly. The G-force should, theoretically, slam everyone and everything inside the ship into the wall at just under lightspeed, turning them into a smooth plasma.
