Mistborn: Can you see metal behind you?
The blue lines that iron and steel mistings see - they point towards nearby metal objects whenever you are burning one of the two metals are burned. The allomancer can see these lines even when they close their eyes. Interestingly, even if their eyes are gouged out, they can still see the lines.
However, what I'm wondering is, is there any textual evidence that says whether or not the allomancer can see the lines that aren't in their field of vision? Eg: lines pointing behind them.
This hasn't been asked before, as far as I can find.
